Driving from the South you will first start seeing the clichee of Norway when you reach the Fjords in the municipality of “Sogn og Fjordane”.
A fjord is created much like the deep valleys that I drove though, where glaciers from the ice age eroded the landscape and left huge inlets of water.
Once you pass the Museum of Glaciers and Climate Change in Fjærland you will see what I am talking about with glaciers on top of the mountains and roads going along the sognefjords.
