21.FEB: ALICE SPRINGS

Arrival day in Alice Springs. Let us know what time you will arrive so that we can pick you up at the airport or bus station.

Accommodation: We will stay in a hostel which probably will cost around 15EUR per night in a dorm.

22.FEB: ALICE SPRINGS TO KINGS CREEK

Today we will depart early to head to Kings Creek where we will be hiking in Kings Canyon. 

Accommodation: We will look for a place to bushcamp in the outback on the way from Kings Canyon to Coober Pedy.

23.FEB: KINGS CREEK TO THE OUTBACK

This is where the real outback adventure starts. We will have a driving day where we set camp before sunset to make dinner on bonfire before watching the stars at night.

Accommodation: We will look for a place to bushcamp in the outback on the way to Coober Pedy.

24.FEB: THE OUTBACK TO COOBER PEDY

We will wake up early from the sun and the heat, pack our stuff and drive the last stretch to Coober Pedy famous as the World’s opal mining capital. We will escape the heat by exploring what there is to see underground.

Accommodation: Tonight will be a night you will probably not forget, where you will be staying at an underground hostel. The Radeka Backpackers for example is a bit pricy at almost 50EUR per night, but gets good reviews.

25.FEB: COOBER PEDY TO HART SALT LAKE

Today we will travel through Glendabo and have a stop by Hart Salt Lake.

Accommodation: We will look for a place to bushcamp somewhere close to the salt lake.

26.FEB: COOBER PEDY TO HART SALT LAKE

Today we will travel through Glendabo and have a stop by Hart Salt Lake.

Accommodation: We will look for a place to bushcamp somewhere close to the salt lake.

27.FEB: HART SALT LAKE TO IKARA FLINDERS RANGES

Today we will drive to the Ikara Flinders Ranges where we will explore the Wilpena Pound and look for the natural amphitheater sacred to the Aboriginal Adnyamanthana people.

Accommodation: We will likely find a free roadside camping to stay at for the night.

28.FEB: IKARA FLINDERS RANGES

Today we will drive to the Ikara Flinders Ranges where we will explore the Wilpena Pound and look for the natural amphitheater sacred to the Aboriginal Adnyamanthana people.

29.FEB: IKARA FLINDERS RANGES TO CLARE VALLEY

We will head from the Ikara Flinders Ranges to Clare Valley, a famous wine region where we can drive to wineyards to do tastings for free.

Accommodation: We will likely find a free roadside camping to stay at for the night.

1.MAR: CLARE VALLEY TO PORT AGUSTA

Today we will drive to Port Agusta where we will check into a hostel to wash off the outback and relax for a bit.

Accommodation: We will stay in a hostel which should not be more expensive than 15€ per night.

2.MAR: PORT AGUSTA TO THE GREAT AUSTRALIAN BIGHT

After a late checkout we will drive to the Great Australian Bight where we have the chance to visit a crocodile park. From there we will drive into the Nullabor with its beautiful landscape.

Accommodation: We will look for a free roadside camping along the way

2.MAR: THE GREAT AUSTRALIAN BIGHT TO THE NULLABOR

Today will be a long driving day. The Nullabor is famous for having long straight streches of driving which can make some nice pictures and also a good place to nap in the car.

3.MAR: THE NULLABOR

4.MAR: THE NULLABOR TO LE GRAND NATIONAL PARK

Today we will finish our drive through the Nullabor and end up at Le Grand National Park

Accommodation: We will most likely have to pay for a facilitated camping in the National Park.

5.MAR: LE GRAND NATIONAL PARK

Today we will explore Le Grand National Park.

Accommodation: We will most likely have to pay for a facilitated camping in the National Park.

6.MAR: LE GRAND NATIONAL PARK TO FITZGERALD RIVER NP

We will drive from Le Grand National Park to Fitzgerald River National Park.

Accommodation: We will most likely have to pay for a facilitated camping in the National Park.

7.MAR: FITZGERALD RIVER NP TO PEACEFUL BAY

From Fitzgerald River National Park we will drive along the coast to the south western part south of Perth. 

Accommodation: We will find a free roadside camping park to stay at close to Peaceful Bay.

8.MAR: PEACEFUL BAY TO MARGARET RIVER

We will drive to Margaret River, famous for good wines where we can visit some wineries for free tastings. 

Accommodation: We will find a free roadside camping park to stay on our way towards Perth.

9.MAR: MARGARET RIVER TO PERTH

Today we will drive to Perth, our final stop on this trip leg. 

Accommodation: We will stay in a hostel, probably costing around 15€ per night.

10.MAR: PERTH TO ROTTNEST ISLAND

Today you will have the option to go to Rottnest Island to see the famous Quokkas, famous for being the happiest/most smiling animals in the World.

Accommodation: We will stay in a hostel, probably costing around 15€ per night.

11.MAR: PERTH

We will have a free day in Perth where we can walk around, and enjoy having completed the second trip leg og Vikings in Australia. In the evening there will be a good bye party for the ones that will be leaving us here.

12.MAR: PERTH DEPARTURE DAY

Today is the departure day. Les us know your flight info so that we can drive you to the airport.
