Educational:
I have studied in six countries, partly because it was a way for me to fulfill my dreams of living abroad, but also because it was a way of having my “rootlessness” sponsored by the government and private institutions through scholarships and grants.
In addition to language and teaching studies at various locations I have completed a Bachelor of International Communications degree at Østfold University College and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at Edinburgh Business School, which is a part of the Heriot-Watt University.
As a blogger:
I discovered that I possessed the travel gene in 2011, at an age of 21 and have since then blogged about my travels to nearly half of the Worlds countries.
I write down my personal experiences from the destinations I visit as well as general travel tips that I wish I would have known beforehand. I welcome all kinds of comments and PMs and answer happily to each and every one.
Professional:
I have had to work all the time throughout my studies, sometimes also with multiple jobs at a time to finance my travels. I have worked in shops, with handicapped people, with children, with the mail services, on farms, had marketing internships, worked as a skipper, a guide, a cleaner etc.
The last three years I have been working as a Travel Advisor for Kilroy Travels, learning all the tricks and the insider tips for car rental, cheaper airfares, about the destinations and more. This information I will try out myself and share with you through my upcoming travels, so stay tuned! I am hoping that at some point in the future, I will also have found a way of making my living by traveling- isn’t that what everyone wants?
